Hi friends, we are so excited you are here! We're Megan & Briana, and we are the faces behind Sit Pretty Events.
We come with not only wedding planning experience, but also catering and venue experience specializing in menu selection, bar offerings and timeline execution. After years of specializing in hospitality management, our journey has led us to endless meaningful connections and our main priority - ensuring your dream day comes to life!
When we’re not busy making day-of decisions and keeping things on time and organized, you’ll find us next to the dance floor - movin’ and groovin’ along with you and your guests… Needless to say, we love a good party!

Before we get into the business stuff, here’s some facts about me:
I have a deep appreciation for early mornings, sunsets, and cold brisk morning walks in Vancouver’s West End.
I thrive on challenges, as evidenced by my completion of my first full marathon in 2023 - If you’re thinking about doing it, do it!
I find joy working with Google Sheets.
I am recently engaged to my wonderful fiancé, so I am a bride also going through the planning process myself!
I am WPICC certified, as well as have a background in hospitality and management. With that, I bring years of experience to the table from a restaurant and venue perspective and understand the ins and outs of what’s happening behind the scenes at venues. I'm dedicated to effective communication and meticulous attention to detail - Ensuring that we stay on the same page with clear communication throughout the planning journey is a priority for me. When working with couples, I take the time to sit down, prioritize their needs, and make them feel like they're the only couple I'm focused on throughout their whole planning journey.
I can truly and wholeheartedly say that I love what I do, and I can’t wait to meet you!

Hello, I'm Bri! :)
Growing up in a big Italian family meant weekends were like one long wedding celebration. This environment fueled my love for hosting and turning ordinary gatherings into unforgettable experiences, especially themed parties – my absolute favourite!
I hold a diploma in Marketing and Event Management from BCIT and possess an extensive background in corporate sales, trade-shows, networking events, and hospitality management. My career has sharpened my communication and organizational skills, crucial when collaborating with various wedding vendors on a busy wedding day!
My event and hospitality background equips me to create seamless timelines with smooth (and sometimes unexpected) transitions – I am always adaptable and happy to accept any changes that may arise throughout your special day. Building effective relationships is also key to me. When working with my couples, I'm your biggest advocate, supporter, and negotiator, committed to making sure you, your family, and your friends feel supported throughout the entire planning process. I like to joke that for the next 10-12 months, I’m your new best friend!
When I'm not wedding planning, you can find me walking the Vancouver sea wall, trying a new soup recipe, or spending time with family and friends <3
A Few Fun Facts About Me:
I have been in over 8 wedding parties
Halloween is my favourite holiday - every year I host a spooktacular “Witches Brew” for my closest ghoulfriends - see what I did there ;)
I started wedding planning for fun when a friend from high school asked for decorative assistance - I haven't looked back since! :)
My friends call me J-Lo and bought me a bluetooth headset (yes, just like “The Wedding Planner”)
